FLORENCE Mine at Egremont was turned into a blank canvas on Bank Holiday Weekend as the first ever PaintFest took place.
The former iron ore mine is now the home of Florence Arts Centre and a festival celebrating all aspects of paint was held on Sunday and Monday.
